JetSMART
Our partnership with JetSMART
The partnership between American and JetSMART expands our network in the Americas. JetSMART now uses the AAdvantage® program as its own loyalty program, so you can earn on any eligible flight with JetSMART and American.
Earn miles
You can earn AAdvantage® miles when you fly on JetSMART marketed and operated flights as well as American Airlines marketed flights operated by JetSMART. You’ll also earn Loyalty Points toward AAdvantage® status.
Here's how:
- Buy an eligible published fare ticket in an eligible booking code
- Fly an eligible route
When you earn eligible AAdvantage® miles for travel on JetSMART, you’ll also earn Loyalty Points that count toward AAdvantage® status.

You'll earn miles based on the ticket price.
Calculating miles based on ticket price
For travel on JetSMART marketed flights, miles are earned based on ticket price (includes base fare plus carrier-imposed fees; excludes government-imposed taxes and fees). The more you spend, and the higher your AAdvantage® status, the more you'll earn.
